OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES IN VARDØ
Vardø is an eldorado for small and large, nice and spectacular experiences in the local outdoor area.
DRIVE TO HAMNINGBERG
It takes about an hour (44km) to drive to Hamningberg also known as: “the drive to the worlds end”. It is a spectacular raw experience, so be prepared to say WOW.
SANDFJORD AND SYLTVIKVATNET
Sandfjord is located on the road to Hamningberg, after about 38 kilometers. Then turn left and not to the right where you continue to Hamningberg. Drive 4,4km to parking place. The road is very bumpy and rough, so a low car is a bad choice. Feel the nature and enjoy landscape. There is also hiking roads: Syltevika and Telegrafhytta.
