Widerøe has several departures and arrivals to and from Vardø every single day. Svartnes Airport is just 5 minutes from Vardø city center.

There are several direct flights each day from Oslo and Tromsø to Kirkenes. The flight time between Oslo and Kirkenes is around 2 hours. Further from Kirkenes there are two departures that correspond to planes from the south. The airport in Kirkenes is serviced by Widerøe, Norwegian and SAS.

A great way to get to Vardø after flying into Kirkenes is to take the Hurtigruten from Kirkenes to Vardø.

Hurtigruten has a connection to Vardø twice a day, and it corresponds to flights to / from Oslo so you can take the boat if you do not want to fly all the way to / from Vardø.
